The Secret: Dare to Dream movie

The Secret: Dare to Dream is a romantic drama  based on the groundbreaking 2006 book by Rhonda Byrne  which went on to become a global phenomenon,  empowering millions to lead happier and more fulfilled lives.  The Secret, which has sold over 30 million copies worldwide, been translated into 50 different languages, and remained on “The New York Times” bestseller list for 190 weeks, teaches that our thoughts shape our reality and that human beings can control their lives with their minds and achieve their desires through the law of attraction.

The Secret: Dare to Dream centers around Miranda Wells (Katie Holmes), a hard-working young widow struggling to raise three children on her own.  A powerful storm brings a devastating challenge and a mysterious man, Bray Johnson (Josh Lucas), into her life.  In just a few short days, Bray’s presence re-ignites the family’s spirit, but he carries a secret—and that secret could change everything.

Dare to Dream is a feature film that shows how everyday normal people can have the courage to go after what they really want in life even if they are going through tough times. Unlike some films that are overly positive or way too dark, Dare to Dream strikes a balance of showing how anyone can overcome life challenges such as death, debt, and relationships throughout an inspiring and uplifting movie. Instead of simply having talking heads telling you how to live your life, it is an actual movie with real characters trying to find authentic happiness, success, and peace in the midst of very difficult circumstances. I believe that watching the characters and film will inspire others to have the courage to be happy, pursue success, and find peace in their life.

The Secret: Dare to Dream, starring Katie Holmes, Josh Lucas and Jerry O’Connell, is available through On Demand platforms such as Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video, VUDU and cable providers starting Friday, July 31st.
