In our abundant and free universe, there are a wealth of resources available to each and every one of us. You have the choice to skip over these free resources and live life in an unaware sort of way. Or, you can step into your awareness of who you truly are, and leverage all these resources to your benefit. My advice? Start leveraging. Today.
Here are 7 ways that you could be using the resources available to you to live a life you prefer.
As an initial matter, get used to this new idea: your thoughts are communicating your preferences to the great big divine. Your every utterance is a communication with spirit. And, every thought has the potential to become a better thought, if you choose it. With this foundation in place, here is my list of the best ways to leverage your free resources.
- Keep a list of items you want from life. Just start a note today of what you want for the rest of your life and start collecting wants. Most of us get bogged down in the hows; that’s not your work. Your work is to communicate your wants. Start today.
- Make time to reflect on your life, with a focus on the best moments. What made them special? Why did you enjoy them? Who were you with? Make notes of all the things that you have enjoyed about life and consider all of it data as to who you truly are.
- Carve out time to be alone. Most of us spend far too much time comparing ourselves to others, when our path is bespoke and personal. By spending time alone, you not only better know yourself, you are in a place where you can open yourself to communicate with the divine in a way that feels comfortable to you. Just saying thank you is often all I need to open up my spiritual pathways.
- Get into a habit of gratitude at bedtime. Put yourself into your bed thinking about every good moment that occurred during the day. Prolong and savor those moments by focussing on why they make you feel good. Consider this entire exercise a communication with the divine as to your personal preferences for life.
- Be a radical appreciator. If there is any person, or object, that is in your life today, find a way to appreciate it even if you have to make up a reason. You can use radical appreciation to take notice of your pen. You can use radical appreciation to better your relationship with your partner. You can use radical appreciation to shift your energy, and your outlook, to be positive. And, any aspect that you radically appreciate is data about you. The true you.
- Get outside and appreciate nature. Just walk and express gratitude for the free air. GIve a nod to the sun and its powerful energy. Talk to the trees and admire them. This form of gratitude is something we all can relate to, as it’s part of our shared humanity. Plus, your energy will be uplifted by using gratitude to appreciate what you receive for free.
- Get a notebook and call it your log book. As you go about your day, record every good thing that you notice in your life. Get into a new habit that celebrates the good, and more good will make its way to you. Get into the habit of focusing on what you like and more of what you like comes to you. See your notebook as a letter to the divine, listing out all that you appreciate. That’s data for anyone who is listening.
These practices are available to every person alive today. These practices are free, easy, and designed to help you move into your natural energy. These practices, if used consistently, would help you create a life that you preferred.
